Time is running out!

As a newbie I have tried to digest all the information on this site along with its videos and historical and very informative links.
Like many the awakening is a shock to the system and has sped up the purchasing of PM's.

Im most sure that the questions I would like to ask have been answered before....but now there is urgency as priorities of the last amount of fiat cash that are available in the economic downturn, inflation, Energy increases etc... make it more difficult to keep purchasing all that is required for such a plan.

So here is where I would like to ask a re evaluation giving a short time and short money what would you do?

1. How much gold silver and ratio of both do we think it will take to see us through the depression if we stay in the USA at a basic poverty level?

2. If we assume it will be a 3 year minimum depression and could be worse, what would be your fastest choice grabs of Food stock and method of storage and cooking utilities, filtration and treatment of water,
Clothing, Hiking boots, camp gear, fuel, medical kits, please elaborate.

3. As the crisis is in full, how and who would you trade your PM's with and how would you trust as this would more likely be person to person trade based upon the Postal service collapsing?

4. Some of us have a unique problem living in US, proceeding through the immigration system.
This prevents obtaining legal gun ownership until obtaining green card etc..
What plan of security and weapon choices would you make if it were your problem? Legal or non, Lethal or non?

5. For those who are prepared, what is the greatest advice to aid a fast plan to help those who have a short time to plan?
Greatest Pro's and Con's and problems encountered with such a plan?

6. Please suggested additional reading and links.

I think i have somewhat of a plan, but would like to re iterate this main subject of survival for the short sighted newbies that need to act fast including myself!
